Knicks WIN to move to 3-0 in the Pre-Season

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=261017018

A few things are becoming apparent. The team is better than they were last year, and when Steve Francis doesn't have the ball, it moves. They already miss Jefferies on D, and will have to come up with something better than Jalen Rose if they want to keep up in first periods. Of the starters, Eddy Curry looked GOOD. They didn't get him the ball as much as they should, but he did a variety of good things and stayed out of foul trouble. He finished up with 19. Though Frye fouled out and made a bunch of mistakes, his points per minute were good. Stephon Marbury seems game, but he hasn't been sharp yet.

The BENCH was more impressive. The Knicks got great energy and contributions from Jamal "Crawdaddy" Crawford, Quentin "Q" Richardson, The Stupendous David Lee, The Phenomenal Renaldo Balkman and Mr. Nate Robinson. Check out the boxscore, they really contributed. Lee and Balkman are the most natural rebounders on the team, though Q isn't far behind. These guys ran the floor, passed the ball and tried hard on D. You have to like them.

Overall note, that's hard to miss: There's serious chemistry between Crawford and Curry, and for that reason above all the other obvious ones he should be starting instead of Steve Francis.

Lots of things to work on, but the arrow is pointing up.
