Knicks Down 68-57 at the Half

Ugh. They didn't get the ball to Curry enough until Crawford came in, and that's when they started catching up (believe me it was much worse than this early in the second). Still, Curry should have 20 already in a game like this.

The Knicks aren't playing D and they are allowing wide open shots to a fairly slow Nets team. Richard Jefferson is going off for the Nets, partly because the guy we signed to stop guys like him - Jered Jeffries - is still out as a product of wrist surgery. That aside, the team D is terrible. The Knicks have Herb Williams and Mark Agguire on the coaching staff, yet neither of these two former low post players has been able to teach Curry and Frye how to play some D, or how to be physical without fouling.

Steve Francis is looking much better, but he's still not getting the ball to the bigs. Marbury is playing like his foot hurts and he has the team made. I'd start Crawford over one of these guys if I was Thomas. The second team guys haven't done anything sensational yet... Let's see if Zeke can motivate them at halftime.
