Giants Tonight

The Draft finally starts tonight.  Still not a fan of the elongated draft, but getting the data flowing two days earlier in the week has some advantage, and thank the football gods for not delaying this.  The Giants job tonight is clear: take their favorite OT either at 4 or after a slight trade down. One of the reasons that the Giants OL has been garbage for years and years is that OT's have become more and more scarce, and teams are finding the David Diehl's a lot earlier these days - and guys like Rich Seubert are being found a lot earlier. Probably because of the growth of the internet and the ease with which guys can circulate tape through it. So, the Giants can no longer build their line like their last successful one. They have to be aggressive about, and this year, they have to cluster draft, because they haven't since the 80s. Last year it was corners, this year it has to be OL's. If they do anything other than taking an OL with their first pick, they still haven't figured things out and they will stay in OL hell.
