Rangers Recall Joey Keane

After an impressive comeback victory in Minny last night, the Rangers have called up Joey Keane, a great skating righty defense man. Keane was an AHL all-star this season, and his improvement over the last year has been pretty impressive.  When once seen as a 4th or 5th D, he could be more than that now. The timing of this is interesting, as it will probably give the Rangers a nice look at him before the deadline, which is now just 10 games away.  If they are going to trade Tony DeAngelo, it will be nice for them to know whether or not Keane can cover the loss.  He seems to be better at the D part of the job.
