Yanks Cashman Says He Still has More Work To Do
So Cash now says he's still looking for a starting pitcher as well as a righty throwing OF. First we've heard of the OF, but it could be Wllingham. The pitcher could be Lee, Danks, or Kennedy, and but the price for any of this stuff must be small or we are back in the late `80s. Scary times but as long as he's not making a big talent bet on this year's underachievers, we should be okay.

I heard him on Francesa. He takes himself soooo seriously.
I know I don't want Danks
How was camp? How was Eli moving ?
Eli looked sharp, all things considered.
Here's the thing. For some reason, they do most of their drills on the opposite side of the field from where the fans are permitted to sit or stand, so it is really hard to see a lot. Maybe it is because it is so early in camp?
Anyway, we did get to see a QB drills where they try to throw the ball in hoop-like nets embedded in a mesh-like screen, and Eli was accurate, Nasib and Painter, less so.
We were also able to see OL drills, involving sleds and footwork, and Pugh appeared to be the most agile. It was also nice to see Beatty out there, moving without any limp or apparent weakness.
The kickers looked strong, if not always accurate.
Some of the WR looked smooth in running their routes, and showed good hands.
Unfortunately, the D was largely too far away to get a good look.
Cashman told Kay that if he had to choose one, a pitcher or a hitter, he would opt for a hitter.
Yay.
Don't let it be said that I can't cite positives about the um, GM, but if it's say Byrd for even a decent prospect, screw him.
Yeah, I was thinking his last few moves have been okay.
