Yanks Get Ichiro
Huh. The Yanks just picked up Ichiro and cash for DJ Mitchell and Farquhar. Now I have no idea what Ichiro has left, nor have I ever liked his style of play for a corner guy. That said, he gives us another lefty hitter for the stadium and he can probably still play some D. Not a bad deal, just a surprising one. Go Yanks!

Didn't give up much, but like you, I'm not sure how much of an upgrade he is. Still, if it allows them to DH Ibanez and Jones more, then great.
