Rangers Sign Fast

The Rangers today announce the signing of Jesper Fast, who was called Jesper Fasth when they drafted him a few years ago, but has since changed his name. No word on Oscar Lindberg yet, but Fast puts another one of the Rangers top prospects under contract. Fasth suffered a devastating leg injury early in this past season, but was able to somehow make it back before the year ended and prove his health to the Rangers. Can't wait to see this kid. He was an Anders Hedberg special when we drafted him. He's combines speed with a good shot. I wonder if he'll be at the prospect camp. And of course, I wonder what else they're going to do to get things moving in the right direction again. Go Rangers!
