Wang to Meet With Dr. Andrews

Hard luck starter Chien Ming Wang's nightmare season will continiue tomorrow as he travels down to Atlanta to meet with Dr. Andrews. Andrews had looked over Wang's latest test results on Saturday, so it doesn't seem like he's calling him down to tell him he looks good. Still, we're sorry and wish only the best for CMW. Go Tiger!

I think we had to add a SP, and I hope Brett comes back soon he has been a integral part of the team.

Does Snell interest you Phil? I read the reports that we sent scouts to see him.

depends on the price.

As it would only be a 5th starter no need to over-pay. In October we wont need 5. I guess it depends on what Cash thinks of Mitre.. I pass on Washburn and any other big names due to the prohibitive costs.

so do I. We don't need a flyball pitcher like Washburn in the new stadium. It's possible, I guess, that we'll trade for a "#3" type pitcher, since Wang doesn't seem to be coming back, and Joba has an innings limit.

Cash went out of his way to remind us of Joba's innings limit last week, and also that more deals get done after the deadline. I also want no part of Lee with the rumored costs for him. Once Joba reaches his limit does that mean he is shut down for the year?

With the likelihood of CMW being shut down for the season after tomorrow I expect Cash will make a move for a SP.
