Best Brett

Brett Gardner, batting first in place of an ill Derek Jeter, came up with 5 hits including a homer as CC Sabathia and the Yanks cruised to a 9-1 win against the Mets. ARod also homered and the O is clearly out of its slumber. Meanwhile, Gardner has become an above average player for the Yanks and they have to find more ab's for him. He's controlling the strikezone and as long as he does that, and doesn't try to do too much, he's a nice weapon for the Yanks. I think AJ Burnett goes tomorrow. BTW, Citifield seems really nice. Go Yanks!
