The Giants Let Go of Amani
From the first few times I saw him play for Michigan, I somehow knew he would eventually be a Giant. Of course, projecting Wolverines to the Giants has been a pretty safe bet historically, I accurately predicted he'd be the 2nd round pick in 1996. And a hell of a pick he was. He leaves the Giants as their all time leader in catches and recieving yards and was a tremendously underrated player in his prime. He made tons of huge plays for the Giants, and no one will ever forget what he did to Denver two different times. In his prime, he was deadly on the slant and go's, and as he grew older he became the best guy in football at getting both feet in. And of course he had huge plays in the playoff run that lead to Superbowl 42. He will be missed, but will also be remembered as one of the truly great Giants. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with the Raiders or 49ers next season. And good luck to Amani, wherever he goes.

Amani was a great Giant, best of luck to wherever he winds up.
MG says we have something big planned Phil would you agree from teh names of Boldin/Gonzo/Braylon? I get the feeling we will be making a big name acquisition at WR
I'd imagine they will do something big since the championship window is still wide open and will be for the foreseeable future.
