Eagles Now Beating Us in Offseason, Too

The Eagles have come to terms with Giant free agent target Kevin Curtis. The big plan is looking like a big flop right now.

It's the Giants' fault.

Looks like we might add Vonta Leach, who is a tough fullback. At which point, Finn would become trade bait for some WCO team.

Are the talks still ongoing for 92 and McQ?

They must be as I know a hell of a lot is going on at Giants Central and that wouldn't be required if they were just signing class C fa's.

From what you can tell, is there any substantive movement on those fronts? I like that a lot is going on, I think we all want to see some results

hard to say. In the offseason things either happen, or they don't so progress is meaningless until the objective has been achieved.

I agree that it's all about the results. I hope we are able to have something, otherwise I find it hard to think that our draft alone will make us any better coming this season.

I agree.

This is why I don't particularly like the FA period. We all end up bitching about losing guys who might be marginal contributors at best, plus there will be more vets coming free after June 1 and after camp cuts.

Those guys can be marginal contributors as well:)

There really aren't June 1 cuts any more. You can use that benefit twice before June, and most teams now have control of the cap.

We need to hit a homer in the draft.

I think trading 92 for additional picks will give me a better outlook on the season and future seasons. As has been stated before it's a sellers market, and we need to take advantage.
