Giants Violate The Pooch

After taking one step toward future sanity by making Jerry Reese GM on Tuesday, the Giants took a somewhat typical Giant step backwards today by promoting the ham faced, retread Kevin Gilbride to offensive coordinator. Not only was he a complete failure as disappointing Eli Manning's QB coach for three years, but I believe there are still bounties on him in San Diego, Pittsburgh and Buffalo where he did some of his worst work before undoing all that was special about Eli in the SEC. There is no accountability with this franchise under the current owners, just as there was none under their predecessors. This is the guy who probably cost us at least one and likely two TD's against Philly in the playoffs by not using Brandon Jacobs. He should have been fired for that failure alone, but, instead he is promoted. Maybe the Giants think .500 is good. It's not. And neither is Coach Kildrive.
