My Greatest 100 (or so) Albums...

Raspberries Greatest (Capitol, recently remastered). Cleveland's own Raspberries deserve recognition, dammit! For a few years in the early `70's they were Lake Erie's Beatles, and quite worthy of the mantle with songs like "I Wanna Be With You", "Tonight","Go All the Way" and "Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)". They presaged the Anglo-American power pop of the late Seventies and while showing massive Beatle and Beach Boy influences, they were very influential themselve. And they used to wear matching outfits! I understand they are finally back together and producing their first studio album in 30 years. I hope it's cool and doesn't suck.
