More Yanks
Peter Abraham, whose blog is linked here, believes the Yanks will end up with Micah Owings and two other prospects. The quality of the prospects clearly depends on what the Yanks are willing to spend here. Remember they're really saving 22M or so if they trade Randy (16M in salary + 40% tax). In other words, the incentive is clearly there for them to go highish on the prospects.

i don't think you can judge this deal until
a) we know what the parts are
b) we know the subsequent deals
the yanks will have too many ready in 0-2 years starters. defintely going to be another move after this one

I agree about having to know about the parts, but if one of them is Medders, my guess is we're throwing Proctor and Melky or Medders and Melky into that Pirate construct for Mike Gonzalez.
we got hosed pretty bad on this deal if its true about what were getting back
We supposedly put 6M in, so we bettter be getting very good prospects back.

not liking the way this is starting to smell
Just got back. My 5 and a half year old nephew kicked me where no one ever should when he lept up to hug me! YEOWCH!
Any, just got word that we might be sending another player with Johnson, so that should be good things.
