College Football Tonight!

6:00 PM Buffalo at Akron
7:30 PM #3 Louisville at #15 Rutgers
8:00 PM Wyoming at #25 Brigham Young

The Buffalo/Akron game and the Wyoming/BYU game should be fun. The main event; however, is Louisville at Rutgers. This might actually be the biggest event to take place in New Jersey since Bruce Springsteen opened the Brendan Byrne arena in 1981. Sure, there have been Giant playoff games that took place in the Garden State that generated some buzz, and all 7 Devils fans have probably gotten this kind of excited about their playoff runs, but this Rutgers game is HUGE! Both Louisville and Rutgers are still undefeated and this game will not only eliminate one of them from the ranks, but it will amp up the din from Southern, Western and Midwestern college football fans who dread an undefeated team from the East playing in the National Title game over one of their 1 loss teams. Either way, this should be great. I believe Louisvilles has the easier schedule after this game, while Rutgers would still have to play West Virginia. Enjoy!
